I bought the 25L as a Kickstarter and so glad I did. It arrived just in time for Xmas and has now become my go-to backpack of choice over and above others from Tumi and Samsonite. It's simplyn the most versatile backpack I've owned with options for phone storage, chest strap, waist belt and the design is simple, yet flexible. The colour is also suitably cool and matches my PD iPhone case, which is neat idea. Look no further if you want something that focuses on practicality, design and good looks, plus it ticks the security box too, as it's a devil to open, until you know how!
Backed this immediately on Kickstarter, and wasn't disappointed when I got my hands on it. Genuinely thoughtful design, and every bit as versatile as it looks. I've now used it for hiking, casual weekends away, and for hauling gear around generally. It's not the lightest of backpacks, but it's still light enough to be usable in almost every situation. The stacked side pockets work astonishingly well in practice, the gear loops and fixings allow for all kinds of load configurations, and just work really well in practice. This is a very accomplished bit of kit.
I was wringing my hands indecisively up until two days before the Kickstarted ended and I decided I did in fact want ~another~ pack. I climb, hike, travel, and generally beebop around and was drawn to the harness in particular, coupled with the organizational flexibility. I’ve got a couple cubes (camera and otherwise) and figured I could swap them out depending on activity. Initially I wasn’t able to do so as cleanly as I’d hoped, but after a couple months I think I’ve developed a great system that I don’t think I’d be able to use in a less open/accessible bag. The harness is all that I’d hoped for thankfully, and I think with a bit of effort this can be one of the flexible carry options in town.
Purchased through KS campaign and took the pack on a recent trip. Discovered my travels and this bag were not aligned. Appreciated the Eclipse colorway and the great build quality of the bag. So many features designed into the bag, many of them not a great fit for my travel. Will be transitioning to another PD product and getting the bag in the hands of a person that can fully utilized this great bag!
I bought this 45L backpack for my 3 weeks south america trip including 6 days hike in Patagonia and Peru inca trail. Together with camera clip and cube it strike good balance between comfortable large size hiking backpack + basic photography needs. Overall design looks great, durable, and packaging cube help organize in easy way.
Used this for about four months now. It’s lightweight and has great features. Tough water resistant exterior and room either side for accessories or drinks bottles. Laptop sleeve fits my 13 inch MacBook Air. Would accommodate larger laptops. Use when cycling to and from work. And for travel. Did me well on a recent trip to Japan. Was great knowing all my belongings and tech were safe on my back. Very comfortable. Love it.
