Excellent Quality and Value

I looked all over for quality outdoor furniture for my large terrace. I wanted something with weight (terrace is on 3rd floor) so I considered first considered teak but the high-end stuff (Gloster, Kingsley Bate, etc.) was exorbitant and the moderately-priced didn't seem of quality. Wrought iron was quickly dismissed (ugly) so I wanted something of both quality and weight in wicker.
I checked my local outdoor shops - three states! - and all the usual big box and retail (Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, etc.) but nothing fit the bill.
Enter, Yardbird. For the same - and arguably better - quality, I paid less than half for a 7-piece Langdon sectional with Silver fabric. I opted for the 45 degree corner (they make them, but it might still not be listed on their site) for an extra seat and finally pulled the trigger.
My set arrived today and I could not be happier with my purchase. The materials are all quality, the set has real weight, and the delivery men who service Restoration Hardware said Yardbird's clips were much better than the competition. In fact, they laughed and said when we clipped two pieces together and turned it over, the clips would fall right off! Most importantly, the cushions are *perfect.* I was concerned about the feel - they're firm, but not super firm - and the depth as I'm 6'2". I could not be happier: they're good depth, but not too deep for my girlfriend.
Overall, I'm impressed, and I'm very picky. Do yourself a favor and go Yardbird!

The furniture is high quality, you can tell as soon as you feel it, which is always tough to tell online. The delivery company though just showed up at our house without calling beforehand, so we were caught a little off guard and had to scramble a little to get the space ready. Overall I like the furniture though.

I don’t usually order furniture online but I didn’t see many options as all the stores in Chicago are way over priced for high quality outdoor furniture. I couldn’t be more delighted with this, they finally figured out a high quality direct to consumer model! Congrats to Yardbird and me :grinning:

I was nervous ordering this without sitting on or feeling the construction but this set is everything I wanted - comfortable, spacious, solid weight and the price isgreat. So so happy with it!
