We had the Safari puzzle and my 3 year old grand daughter loves doing it so I bought the dinosaur puzzle in a store and found the sea creatures puzzle online. We do it over and over and it definitely helps hand eye coordination not to mention that she has it memorized now and knows where every piece goes.

Wood is raw and dangerous. Easily splinters while opening and while using. Granddaughter had 2 slivers after just opening the shrink wrap with help. Pieces fit extremely tight. Puzzle put away until I can sand each piece and the puzzle board.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
