This is lightweight I can't believe it! I use it as carry on for personal and business trips. Nobody else at the luggage carousel has this so it's extremely easy to identify. Compartments galore. Keep your socks and underwear and toiletries separate. Hard but springy outer shell so it can take some knocks while protecting the contents but doesn't get deformed. I love it. Can't recommend it enough.
