Purchased a Keurig early November 2011 and have since been slowly trying to find the "perfect" K cup. I may have found it in Starbucks French Roast Dark. Just before Thanksgiving, I spotted a 10-pack in Safeway for [$] (pricey, yes, but chanced that the quality would match). Turned out to be a great decision. This K cup has a delicious, bold, strong coffee flavor, with no "sour" or acidic taste that I could discern. It also leaves a tiny bit of a smokey taste on your tongue after you sip. Although I'm extremely picky about what is "a good cup of coffee" I would still say this K cup is pretty much a 5/5 or maybe 4.9 if I'm being overly picky about "perfection." Anyone who loves dark, bold, rich, dare I say sexy coffee should try this for sure. (Note: I use a Keurig Special Edition B60, medium cup setting.)
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste, Low acidity, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smokey afterfinish
Cons: Pricey

Rich full French Roast taste. Initial bitter taste mellows out after a few sips.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Pleasing Aroma

High Quality Starbucks Coffee

We have just started using the K-cups. This is a great cup of coffee made in one minute with practically no clean up. The brew was perfect at the 12 oz setting.
Pros: Not Bitter, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Smooth Taste, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma

Finally!

Picked up the last box from my local store. Can't wait for Keurig to carry to obtain points for ordering in bulk. Using the platinum brewer on largest brew still delivered a great cup of coffee. Not the same as using a French press/fresh grind, but very happy with given the time saved definitely worth it. I have tried many of the other dark roast/bold kcup varieties and will no longer buy anything else.

The Starbucks French Roast makes one GORGEOUS cup of coffee...it has the same flavor profiles as Strabucks in house coffee...but no waiting in line!! From this moment forward this is what I will drink. Just gorgeous.
