compared to Green Mountain's Dark roasts, this one left me wanting a darker bolder flavor. I had to adjust amount of water and use the "stronger" feature of my keurig. i enjoy the other darker flavors better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best French Roast Ever

I order this monthly along with a few other dark roasts. The taste is smooth yet powerful. Makes my day.

Too Smoky!

I love Starbucks Coffee, but not the French Roast! It's just too smoky. My daughter who is a big coffee drinker, and who loves dark roasts, didn't like the French Roast at all.

Horrible and bitter!

I was so excited when this delivery came only to be completely disappointed and stuck with an entire case of coffee I cant choke down with extra cream and sugar. I even tried to it give away to office mates with nothing but terrible reactions and accused of playing a prank!! Starbucks really let me down.

If you are into bold coffee, this one is for you.
Its smooth enough for a bold type of coffee. I enjoy bold coffee, but, for me I have to add a little creamer to help with the high acidity.

Good Strong Coffee

I had put off buying a Keurig machine because I heard that it doesn't make strong coffee. I love strong coffee. I finally bought my first Keurig machine, the K200 because it has a "strong" option. Starbucks French Roast Coffee doesn't need the strong option. It's pretty strong on itself own and it's so yummy.
