Very comfortable for prolonged sitting adjusts in all the ways I want it to with one easy lever. Lower end Staples chairs I've tried in the past have felt flimsy and constantly creaked and squeaked but this one is rock solid and quiet. Rolls easily when you want it to and has enough friction to stay put when you don't. The polyurethane smell noted by other reviewers is present but faded after a few days; not a deal breaker but definitely a concern for anyone sensitive to that. Chair is quite heavy and I had some difficulty with the armrests during assembly. Would be very interested in a full back model with a head/neck rest.

I have bad back and have purchased many chairs that were supposed to support. Technology has improved and this one is great.

Had looked at many chairs for a few weeks. And impressed by the features available and none comparable found so far also it on sale that was within my price range. I bought it! I sit it over 6 hours for work a day. It has been giving me the lower back support I need!

I purchased this particular chair after thoroughly reading reviews and sitting on several different chairs. I made a trip to my local Staples store with two other chairs in mind. I sat on several different chairs. I was completely surprised at how comfortable and supportive this chair turned out to be. It usually takes me a while to make up my mind but once I tried out this chair the decision was easy. The lumbar support is very good. The actual seat itself is also very comfortable. It is a well built chair. The store was out of stock so they ordered it and was delivered in two days. I bought it while on sale. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I tried it out at the store so I knew what to expect. After one week still has that awful odor of plastic/oil. Otherwise when on sale a decent buy.

Easy ordering process comfortable lots of settings; strong odor

Unsure why there is such a strong odor. I have been trying to air it out now for 2 days does not seem to work. Need to try wiping the chair down with some cleaners+ water.

Awesome features not so easy installation bad new smell

Impressed by the features available and none comparable found so far I bough this chair. As mentioned the installation of side arms was very tough. Poor design on how a customer can install himself. Also the smell was very bad didn't expect this in a chair! The back seat height adjustment isn't locking at all and the seat height knob seems very weak that it seems that the cable is cut or not working. Disappointed and returning but love this if this all have worked.
