Excellent wholly adjustable ergonomic chair similar if not identical to those chairs provided White House Staffers. Very well packed in sturdy materials --- no parts damage. Parts inventory completed without problem. Instruction booklet provided for assembly was largely intuitive -- there were very few written instructions -- mostly accomplished by fairly clearly understood illustrations. The screws/bolts were difficult to apply owing to a heavy application of black enamel.....care being taken NOT to cross thread..... I would bet other owners will complain...... The "operation" of the chair is easy to do and the seat quite comfortable. The back support is seemingly quite good for me and my chronic condition of lower back. I would like to have the ability to raise the chair heir a bit more but I can figure a fix. A very well designed chair employing quality materials that should provide years of good service -- and comfort. Bottom Line: Great chair that provides excellent comfort for lengthy periods of sedentary research work.
Really wanted an Aeron but this one is making me just as happy and comfortable. Very sturdy. Heavy. You won't be backpacking with it but that wasn't really the plan anyway.
The 1500TM Mesh Chair that we purchased for my wife was an excellent choice. It was not in stock and had to be shipped from a warehouse with an expected delivery of 3-5 days. It was delivered in two days. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and I was able to complete the procedure without any additional tools or difficulty. The chair is comfortable and has many adjustments to make it 'fit' most body sizes. This was an excellent choice.
I went to Staples and sat in about 15 chairs. Online I thought I'd like one of the Tempur-Pedic ones but the store I went to didn't have a demo of the 7000 and I didn't like the 9000. I was about to just forget it when I saw this chair and decided to try just one more. BIG PLUS - the seat raises to a very comfortable height for me. The lumbar support adjusts (back raises up and down) as do the armrests (both up and down and angle in and out). Seat is a bit narrow (I'm not skinny - but I've worked with people who would definitely be too snug in this chair. I find I cannot sit indefinitely in this chair - but that's not good anyway so it just inspires me to get up more often. I wasn't about to pay $49 to have someone put it together and I wasn't home when it arrived. A friend put it together for me and said it was easy. If it lasts as long as I need it it'll be a good buy. And I used E-Bates so I'll get a bit more back besides getting it on sale.
