off gassing very serious

Expect to not use this chair for about 3 weeks after it arrives. I've had this chair for 2 weeks but have not been able to use it. Most of the time it has been sitting outside in the sun to release the toxic fumes from the way the plastic is processed. Very toxic especially to someone who is chemically sensitive. It is getting better but still makes my eyes burn when I put it in my office. I was heartened that my doctor has these chairs in their offices. She treats many chemically sensitive people so I'm sure it will be okay once it finishes. Just disappointed that I couldn't use it right away. I think it will be good once I can use it. I did try it out and the arm support and adjustable back will be very helpful to me. I wish it had a forward tilt to take pressure off my legs.

I have always liked the very high-end mesh chairs you typically find in conference rooms of high tech companies. This chair is just as comfortable as those costing double the price and was easy to assemble. Very good quality.

We like the mesh. We have a small office and it fits in well; it is less bulky and appears to take up less space than an upholestered chair. We'd give it four stars right now and if lasts a least a year it will be a five star rating. Very Satisfied!

I pondered over purchasing this chair for over a year and when my back couldn't take the stress of sitting long hours at a computer anymore I bought this chair. Why the wait?? It cost more than the other ones did however this office chair is worth every penny! I am able to tolerate sitting at a desk so much better and I would purchase it again for it's quality and effectiveness in back support! I highly recommend theStaples Professional Series 1500TM Mesh Chair.
