If you spend a lot of time sitting at your computer and get occasional backaches you should consider investing in this chair. It really does the trick.

Bought this chair after sitting on one inside the store. Couldn’t find any other like it and compared to the more expensive HermanMiller chairs out there this is the next best thing. I’m on the shorter end of the spectrum at 5’5” and 150lbs I’m pretty sure I’m light as a feather on this thing so it’ll probably be a while before it’s fully broken-in. I love that the back rest sits pretty low to where the lumbar is just right. All the adjustments are really easy once you get to learn them all. Assembly was a breeze. Only reasons for the 4-star is due to packaging long break-in period and I wish the chair would sit just a tiny bit lower (I’ll have to find a shorter center lift piston or modify the base insert slightly). A note about the packaging...it’s sucks plain and simple. The manufacturer has yet to perfect the box and how to properly organize everything inside I’m glad nothing arrived damaged or broken since the outer box was torn up and in pretty rough shape. All in all I highly highly recommend this chair. Especially for those experiencing any lower back issues.

I like the chair it does what it's designed to do for the most part. The only con I have at this point is the chair back will not stay in the up position for the lumbar support to work properly. I lift it up and it will slowly slide back to the bottom.

Nice chair

Dealing with lower back pain and determined to find a nice desk chair. Went to local high end furniture store and test drove Herman Miller Aeron and Cosm chairs. Nice but prices were shockingly high and quality was no better than this Staples chair- really. This chair is very well made designed and comfortable. Nice controls. Looks great. Deduct one star for: - Lumbar only adjustable up and down- not in and out. Not a big problem- good lumbar support. - Hidden in the many tags under the seat is one disclaimer pointing out the provided casters are designed for carpeted floors. If you have hard surfaces you need "soft tread casters". I have hardwood floors which could be damaged by hard casters. Also the soft casters lessen the tendency of this chair to fly away when you sit down/ stand up. Order part number 122812 off staples.com. Pricey-- about $50 with tax and shipping. - I bought this chair in store. Store price was $379. Good thing I checked my iphone and found online price $299 which store matched. Seems a game I'd rather not play. - Sales rep tried hard to sell me extended warranty. Gave me incorrect info that standard warranty is 1 year. Actually the standard warranty is 5/10 years depending on parts. We'll see how this chair performs long term but initial impression is very good.
