I’ve had the chair for a week and I like the adjustable height lumbar support and arms. It is a comfortable work chair for a full day at a desk. It was expensive though at roughly $500.
This FlexFit 1500TM Mesh chair is built really well. Liked a lot the superior quality of materials comfortable mesh seat padded arm rests adjustable sliding seat. I tried to really like the chair but 3 main features were not a good fit for my body frame (5' 6" thin body 17.5" wide at the shoulders). First the lumbar support was just a bit too bold... I really wish you could adjust how far the lumbar support protrudes and pushes out your lower back. Second the distance between the arm rests was just too wide at 19.5"... the sliding and swiveling feature of the arm rests did not help and I ended up with pain on my elbow and strained forearms after a few days. In addition I would have liked the back rest to come forward just a little more (1/2 to 1") in the neutral position. My lower back was supported but not my mid and upper back when I was in the typing position. I am now trying out the Hyken which seems to be a better fit for my arms. Compared to the Hyken the FlexFit has more robust rollers and more comfortable mesh and armrests. I would really the Hyken with the materials and sliding seat of the FlexFit.
I've been meaning to purchase a new chair for my "home office" since the pandemic. Went to Staples and the store manager recommended this chair over the 2 I was looking at. Good choice. Comfortable and adjustable.
My back was really bothering me and I knew it was time for a new chair. The lumbar support is excellent and my back is feeling great! Definitely recommend!
My wife loves this chair she says is provides great support. Unfortunately for me the seat isn't wide enough. Because the seat is mesh and flexible when I sit in the chair my legs hit the seat frame and are causing discomfort. If they made the seat wider I doubt the mesh seat would provide enough support. I believe it is great chair for most just not my body type.
