Best thing ever

I am crazed about all the waste we create in this s country. The soda stream is wonderful. Saves lots of plastic waste and tastes great! I like mine with a fruit juice in it. My husband likes the diet flavors. The only complaint I have is that it’s hard to get some flavors and when you can they have become very expensive.

Use it daily

I love my Fizzi classic and I use it every day. I enjoy the different fruit flavors, too. It replaced my expensive canned flavored bubbly waters. Everyone in my family uses it. I wish the plastic bottles were dishwasher safe, we have ruined 2 bottles in the dishwasher accidentally.

Our sodastream is amazing - we mix flavors and it's so easy that my 8 year old can use it easily! Love the exchange program for the cartridges and how much room is saved form not having returnables in the house. :)

Love it/ hate the cylinder exchange

I love sodastream! I use it all the time, but I will never use the cylinder exchange option. I brought 2 cylinders in to meijer to exchange and the 2 I got in return had no CO2 in them at all. I wasted money on 2 useless cylinders. the discount for the exchange is a total rip off. That's the only reason why I didn't give this review a 5 star.

Works...but

I bought my first Fizzy machine a month ago, it leaks like crazy so I double checked the directions and tried again — same result. I bought another Fizzy, it also leaked water but not as badly and only after it was charged. I have been using Soda Stream for more then 5 years and totally love the results! I am ‘hooked’ on the machine as I get my daily requirement of water easily with carbonated water. (Can’t stand flat water) So I am not happy with the ‘new’ model machine, please bring back the previous models. They lasted me a long time with no problems!

Less than 60L

I like my soda stream and the convenience it gives me when I want sparkling water right away. However, the carbonating cylinder didn’t last very long. It says on the label that it makes about 60L, but it lost its fizz after a week and half. I’m sure I didn’t make 60L of sparkling water! I want to purchase another one, but I’m afraid it may happen again.

Cheaply Made and Dangerous

My wife and I loved the old soda stream that I bought about 6 or so years ago. This new one is cheaply made, and we are now on our third one. The first one didn't work and wouldn't carbonate the water. We returned it to the store and got another. The second one worked for a couple of months, but then literally EXPLODED. It would constantly leak CO2 after it was used, and then one day it blew apart and threw pieces across our kitchen. We contacted soda stream, and they sent us another one under warranty. Now this third one is exhibiting the exact same symptoms as the last one, just before it blew up! I am currently in the process of contacting soda stream to see what they can do for me. Extremely disappointed in this product, especially as this model seems to be a safety hazard.
