Works great, love this newer design

We ordered this after our old version broke. We probably had it at least 10 years. The old one required you to screw in the bottles and made a loud, unpleasant sound. This new model lets you just pop the bottles in and out and is practically silent when it carbonates their water. Love it!

A little disappointed

Not what I expected. Charged water does not hold its carbonation very long at all. Definitely not like the bottled sparkling water I was hoping to replace.

Ripoff

I read the instructions, filled the bottle up to the line and put it into the fridge. When I screw the bottle in and press the button, every time a ridiculous amount of water comes out and I have to legitimatey clean my kitchen afterwards. The even sadder part is even after pressing the button 7 times to get very bubbly water as described in the instructions, there is basically NO sparklw in the bottle. I had an iKich sodastream before and it worked just fine. I am extremely disappointed with this Fizz Sodastream!!!

Second Sodastream

My husband gave me a Sodastream One Touch for Christmas and I love it. I decided to get a second one for our vacation home. I got the Fizzi not realizing that it is not electric. I am as pleased with the Fizzi as with the One Touch but I am not happy with the bottles. They do not maintain the fizziness of the water once sealed and put in the refrigerator for a while.
I also find that the white bottles I received with my One Touch have the same concern, not maintaining the fizziness of the water as well as the silver bottle I received with the One Touch.

Problems

I had previously purchased a Soda Stream that worked perfectly. The new one's button on the top sticks which means when released it continues to eject O2. Pushing it several times makes it ultimately release but with the loss of O2.
If considering a purchase you should note that the reason to purchase the product is environmental; the absence of plastic bottle refuse. Price-wise the refill exchange program is very slightly more the price of purchasing bottles at your supermarket. That was OK with us, as we did not purchase it to save money.
