I followed the instructions but I just can’t get it to fizz. What a waste of money.

I’m still learning how this Fizzi model works. I’ve followed the directions , but I’m not getting the carbonation I like I did with my old Sodastream. I have not checked in with support yet, but maybes once I do, I’ll be able to update this review.
We use cold water from the brita filter to fill up, and after we make it goes back to the fridge. The first time watching the video I used 3 pumps. Was no fizzle totally flat. I was ready to return it. Pumped up to 7 and was perfect. I have no ide how many bottles I will get. Next time when I get the new patron I will count it and let you know. I hope for at least 30 bottles. So far up to about 15 to 20 and the fizzi started to make sounds like its running out of co2, but I will go with it untill the last pump. We used the isi system for many years. But you could not recycle the co2 patrons, you had to throw away. In Europe was none issue. To repurchase 10 isi patron was about two dollars. Which gives us 10 liters. Good deal, but sodastream is even better. Sorry isi.
I like it and use it far more than I thought I would actually. I still question at times how much carbonation is going in. Sometimes the same amount of pumps yields more bubbles than others.
On order #1475095, one of the cylinders was empty... I actually carbonated one SodaStreams bottle... And that was it.. When I returned 2 cylinders... I attached a 8 1/2 x 11 printed note on the empty cylinder... On the attached letter I requested another cylinder or a refund... I don't know how you handle this type of problem... Can you please let me know??? Oh and by the way "I Love my Soda Stream"... I have Multiple Sclerosis and SodaStream made it better for me... I don't have to go to any store... It helps by limiting my walking and I don't have to pickup and load a 36 pack of Coke Zero at the store and then again when I get home... SodaStream has made my life so much easier...
Love having sparkling water without the trip to store

It does have a bit of a learning curve. However, find soda stream on YouTube and watch the video for the fizzi before using and it will be easier. I love being able to have the sparkling water whenever I want and not have to deal with the bottle returns that my state charges for this type of beverage.
I have always bought cases of sparkling water and felt bad about all the packaging and aluminum cans I was going through, not to mention the cost. I have had my sodastream for a few weeks now and love it. Not only will I save money in the long run, I’m saving the planet! Not to mention, the bubly flavors are an awesome add on and taste great. You won’t regret buying a sodastream!
