I bought this as a gift. I do it have the fizz myself but I do own sodastream. I was embarrassed, after ranting and raving , when I had to go help get it started and it’s just not the same.

Inset bottle

I find it difficult to insert bottle. I wish instructions were in words. Plus there was no information that original bottles could be used or not.

Fizzi isn’t so fizzy!!!

This is my 3rd soda stream and the first one I’m disappointed in. The water in the ”new” bottles doesn’t come to the bottom of the carbonating spout, so that when you take the bottle out, much of the carbonation goes with it.
I saw on a youtube video that you should overfill the bottle so that it will carbonate better. Makes sense, but why did soda stream put the water line so low that it can’t carbonate? This is especially true with the smaller bottles.

You need your bubbles! We have 2 tips for you. Make sure you are using cold water, this carbonates best. If the water out of your tap is not cold enough, fill the bottle ahead of time and leave in the fridge to carbonate later. Also, make sure that after you put the lid on you close tightly so the bubbles don't escape. Still having issues? Give our sparkling specialists a call at 1.800.763.2258

Broken Button

The button cracked at the pivot point after moderate use. We have to use a piece of wood to force the button above the canister down to carbonate it now. Wouldn't be an issue if they sold replacements, but we now have to buy a brand new system if we want to continue bubbling

I love my new soda stream - I have found sparkling water in cans and bottles have too much fizz, and now I can adjust the fizz to my liking, plus add juice etc.

Not only have we been able to replace high sugar soda but have also found it so easy to implement drinking more water having our soda stream and the wide range of types and flavors of mixes! Huge Thanks to our Fizzi and the team at Soda Stream you all ROCK!

It took me a few try's before I learned to make the level of CO2 that I liked to drink. Starting out, I might have been happier with a more upscale device but now I wouldn't even think of upgrading.
