Breaks easily

The casing as well as the lever you use to carbonate your water are all made of fragile plastic and prone to breaking. Particularly at risk is the very small adapter for the canister that shoots CO2 into the water. This will break down, requiring you to push down harder and harder just to get CO2 to come out until finally it stops working altogether. Just thought you should know, you can expect maybe 4 months out of this machine.

Don’t make em like they used to

My old original soda stream recently died. Well the gasket that seals the bottle tight enough to get the bubbles made died. And it doesn’t seem like you can replace parts. Very wasteful. So I got this new version. It is much much harder to get the bottle screwed on to the machine. Sad about this and the money wasted.

Disappointed with Fizzi

I am regretting my recent purchase of the Fizzi. The main reason is the difficulty I have had in actually making sparkling water. Some times the water shoots out of the top and other times, I am able to make fully carbonated water. It seems like I am using far too much CO2 with unsuccessful efforts. I also find the main body of the device constructed of really flimsy plastic.

We purchased this after using it at our son's house. It's a very easy and convenient way to get seltzer in our home.
The red Fizzi is exactly what we needed in our kitchen.
Easy to set up. Easy to load the cylinder. Easy to bubble our own tap water.
