Have of me loves it and have is disappointed

Have always wanted a Sodastream and finally purchased one. I initially thought it was the one that had three buttons on top so if you wanted 3x or 5x there was a button for it but as it turned out it has one button and you have to figure what's the right amount. Wish it was the three button one. I do have to say I love the fact that I can fill up the bottle with water and have instant seltzer. The tincture for making the water favorable is not the greatest. So we flavor it ourselves with lemons. Also not sure if after you seltzer the water the canister makes a whooshing sound - is this normal.

So much less waste

No longer having to shop for sparkling water is nice. So much less waste. Love how easy it is to quickly make a bottle. My family wishes there were more flavoring options, but I usually drink it plain anyways.

Love it! Love being able

Love it! Love being able to carbonate to my taste. Stays carbonated hours longer than cans or bottles of carbonated water. A huge plus for me and the planet is the reduction in waste. NO MORE aluminum cans or Plastic bottles to recycle! I was concerned about the waste of the gas cylinders but being able to swap out empties for full ones remedied that concern. Great product. Just hope it is durable as I use it a lot! Kind of costly for start up but after initial purchase there is nothing to buy other than, occasionally, a gas cylinder.

Gas doesnt stop pumping out!! Do not recommend!

I ordered this and was super excited as my family drinks a lot of soda water! The first time I used it, it was fine. The second time, the gas just kept coming out of it! I was able to get the bottle off but the gas still kept coming out! I started to feel light headed and ran to open a window, my boyfriend took the unit outside and unscrewed the bottle.Whew crisis averted! I ordered a new gas canister, thinking the one i had maybe was just old r messed up or something. It happened again the first time but at least i knew what to do! Its really freaky to have that happen and concerning that my teens would use it and not know how to handle the situation. Absolutely do not recommend!

Loved, but leaks
