GREAT machine, TERRIBLE bottles.

I absolutely love the machine, it’s ease-of-use, it’s sturdiness, everything about it. The newer bottles are a bit better, but never ever put them in the dishwasher. Also because of the rounded bottom they tip over easily. And I can tell you they’re just extremely difficult to clean, I’ve created a device to insert a dish towel to dry and wipe out the residue even after I scrub the crud out of it.

Got it as a present for my mom because she loves seltzer but feels bad about all the plastic bottles we have. Got her this as a sustainable replacement and she loves it! Uses it all the time!

Disappointed

I am disappointed in this product. I have problems with really getting the water bubbly even though I THINK I’m following directions. But what is worse than this is that the water doesn’t hold its fizz. Another big disappointment is that you have to use sodastream’s bottle. It’s the only one that fits. This is a big crock, as you’re locked into their products. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT and I regret buying it.

Excellent product

My very old SodaStream maker was dying a slow death, so I needed a new one. The Fizzi had a good price, SodaStream provided quick service and very good directions and most importantly: it fizzes the water extremely well and the bottles keep the fizz in. Don’t hesitate if you want sparkling water but don’t want to go to the store all the time or throw away bottle after bottle.
