I love the SodaStream just with tap water. It gives the great fizz that you get from a cold can of soda. But I'm frustrated that the bubbles get lost relatively quickly even if the bottle is tightly shut. It stays fizzy for a while but it doesn't keep that intensity that my throat needs. Plus, the regular syrups have a horrible, chemical-like taste.

I love the concept of this machine. I am a big fan of sparkling water. The fact that you can mandate your fizz amount is awesome to. The only thing I didn’t like were the flavorings. They seemed a little flat.

It barley carbonates my drink even though I kept pressing more than I was suppose to and it still tasted like water downed Fanta because I was using the Fanta flavor

Aqua Fizz, not impressed, it is a guessing game each time you carbonate, no consistency to amount of carbonation. Actual operation is kind of clumsy.

Inconsistent

I recently purchased a Fizzi model. I find the push button very inconsistent. Sometimes I push the button and huge blast of carbonation comes out, sometimes just a little. Sometimes when I hold the button down the carbon dioxide will stop on its own, other time it will continue to come out as long as the button is depressed. This makes consistent levels of carbonation difficulty to achieve. Sometimes it takes 3 pushes, sometimes 5, other times 7...one never knows. I had borrowed a friends older Soda Stream and I found it operated more consistent. It also had a more solid build. The Fizzi has a bit of a cheap, overly-plasticky feel to the whole thing. I love that I can make carbonated water, I'm just a bit disappointed by the quality and operation of the Fizzi
