We purchased this for the screen porch we added to our house this year. It is beautiful and fits our space perfectly. We have already enjoyed many meals with friends at this table in our bug free porch.

Excellent set!

We have had this set for an entire spring-fall season now and so far has held up well. It is under a covered porch so is mostly sheltered from the elements but a few times the cushions did get wet when it rained but they have held up well also. Seats are comfortable with the cushions. The chairs do not slide well on our wood porch since it's not completely even, so we are in search of a rug for under it now.

Great looking table. The table

Great looking table. The table scratches easily and am afraid it won’t hold up well.

Thank you for your time in writing this review! We've worked hard to provide a durable finish for our furniture and dining tables, however, they are not scratch-proof. 1H powder coat hardness is a common industry standard for home use. Some of the high-end products in the market use a 2H powder coat (twice as hard), this is what we use. That said, the dark espresso brown finish of the Lily Set can show scratches more easily than a lighter color or a more glossy finish.
Since the table is not scratch-proof, we recommend using coasters and placemats to provide extra protection against abrasive dishes & accessories. This is not unique to our tables and we are confident our competitors who use similar materials would share similar advice.
We do have a custom touch-up paint pen available that you may use to conceal the scratches. Please send us a message at hello@yardbird.com and we'll help to send one to you at no additional cost!

Love this set!

We have been very happy with our dining set; it gets daily use and is extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that we have some chipping already on the chairs.

Yardbird uses commercial-grade aluminum for all of our frames and we finish all of our aluminum with powder coat paint. The powdered paint is made with ground pigment and resin, which sticks to the metal much better than liquid paint. It is strong and long-lasting and also adds corrosion resistance and is commonly used with all types of metal.

Lily Chair Modification

We really like everything about this set. There was only one thing that we found annoying: the adjustable feet on the chairs come loose and cause a terrible metallic rattling sound whenever the chairs are moved. To correct this issue, I removed all the feet. installed a stainless steel lock washer on each one, and tightened them securely with a pair of channel lock pliers. On the two chairs that required one foot to be screwed out to level the chair, I added a nylon washer behind the lock washer. This simple fix completely eliminated the rattle. It also worked on the Harriet ottoman. Recommend you consider adding lock washers at the factory.

Great furniture and customer service thats best in class

Ordered the Lily 9 piece dining set, arrived and more beautiful than expected. High quality.
Unfortunately, table arrived scratched. Also, chairs did not fit underneath the table. Contacted customer service, they had me send some pictures. They immediately advised me that I had mis-assembled the set, which was causing the chairs not fit. Also, they immediately scheduled a new table to be sent, and arranged to have the old picked up, no questions asked. Congratulations Yardbird team for best in class . Thank you.

Beautiful Dining Set!

So in love with our table - we were a bit worried about quality, having never seen the table/chairs in person but we're completely blown away by the Lily set. We ate outside almost every night this summer, and love the look and feel of the table and chairs! 10/10 highly recomend!

Round base chairs, are better than 4-leg chairs

We love our dining set! I need to order an outdoor rug for next season as the four-leg chairs make a horrible noise when you move them out from under the table. The two rocker chairs with the round base do not make that sound, and if I could order over again, I would buy all chairs with the round base.
