Disappointed with Durability

On the second day after I bought it, a gust of wind knocked the umbrella over and the pole bent. I expected it to hold up better, especially since it was advertised for outdoor use. Definitely not sturdy enough for even mild wind. Would not recommend unless you’re in a completely wind-free area.

Chips extremely easily!!!!!

Be sure to steer clear of this set! The coating on the table and chairs chips extremely easily. We just purchased this set last year and since then 4 chairs have chipped and the table bubbled. Customer service replaced the table and 2 chairs cause it happened right after we received them last year. But now two more chipped and they will not replace them. The best they will do is send you a paint pen, which by the way doesn’t work cause when we received the first chipped chair the delivery man tried this and it didn’t even take to the chair.
YardBird says that the chips do not affect the integrity of the product and it is just cosmetic. I’m sorry I didn’t know wanting my belongings to look nice was such a huge ask.
I wanted a black patio furniture set not aluminum. If I wanted aluminum I would of bought one which most likely would of been much cheaper, and at this rate I will have by the end of this summer.

This furniture set is just gorgeously designed and has given our entire patio an uplift. We bought this last year but over the course of the winter the table showed some splits at the seams. I was surprised - the one thing I’d expected was high quality. I emailed Yardbird with a few photos and they immediately sent a brand new replacement, no questions, and we’re extremely apologetic. The customer service was unbelievable, and the set has just brought us so much happiness.

Excellent quality and beautiful furniture! We ordered the dining set to go on our screened in porch. Even though our couch set is black and the yardbird table is brown, it is so dark that they match her perfectly and work very well together!

Really nice furniture

We visited the North Bethesda, Maryland showroom twice before ordering. Both times the store staff was friendly and helpful.
We opted to buy 6 of the swivel chairs for our set, and are really glad we did. These chairs are so comfortable you can even sit on them without the cushions, and everyone having a swivel chairs makes for more dynamic gatherings around the table.
Delivery took about 3 weeks, which was expected. Some of our pieces did arrive with scratched/chipped paint, which was disappointing. One chair arm had very noticeable, deep chips in a 2 inch long line, and there were minor chips and scuffs on the table and two other chairs. Customer service was responsive via email and we quickly arrived at an amicable solution.
I am a bit concerned that the finish will not be durable and scratches and chips will be an ongoing problem, but I still believe this is great quality outdoor furniture overall (and we'll keep the paint/repair pen handy once they send it!).
We were not impressed with the chair cushion colors (a bit drab), but easily found replacement Sunbrella cushions in a color that matches our existing 11 foot umbrella and that fit the chairs as well as the cushions that come with the set.
One more thing of note: the apron around the table prohibits me from crossing my legs when sitting. Thankfully, with the swivel chairs, it's easy to sit to the side a bit if I want to cross my legs.
Yardbird is a great company with excellent customer service both in-store and online. The furniture is well made, looks great, and is very comfortable. We are very glad to have this set!
