Wheel broke the very first time used

We have several Travelpro Platinum Elite Soft sided carryon bags. Never have had a single problem. With that in mind we purchased 2 large hard sided platinum elite - and it didn’t even make it off its first domestic flight without a broken wheel. And let me tell you, a large bag like that with a broken wheel is awful - let alone going up stairs. We have a long international trip coming up and I will be returning these ASAP.

Replaced a brand (sounds like selfie…) we owned for years. The Platinum Elite is fantastic. Have large, medium and carry-on. Nice setup when packing clothes. Super easy to roll through the parking lot and airport.

The quality is great and I can fit quite a bit of clothes in the suitcase comfortably. It is pricey, but worth every penny spent. The suitcase rolls easily and I love the way it looks.

Lacking functionality

There is enough space. There are no pockets which is a design flaw in my opinion. There should be handles on both halves rather than just on one. This makes it hard to manage the suitcase when propped open. There should be handles at both ends to make it easier to pull out of a car or train rather than just on the top end. Would not buy again.
