Great Luggage

Was on sale and worth the investment. Daring Red, and True Navy were the colors we chose. Oh my goodness! The colors are so rich, beautiful, and classy. We loved the colors online and wow they were so amazing when they arrived and we opened the boxes!
So much storage and so easy for organizing. I’m so glad we did our due diligence finding what brand and sizes to buy. Travelpro hands down was the best option for us. Especially with the 100 day trial and warranty. That’s why they have a great reputation. The luggage just doesn’t disappoint. It’s so much better in person. Love the spinners and they each came with a nice cloth cover. We are expecting this to be the last set of luggage we’ll need to buy.

This bag looks like it belongs to a sophisticated, professional woman. I love it! My only concern is how to best to remove the scuff marks that occur during airline baggage handling

Great wheels, immediately damaged on corners.

The Platinum Elite Medium was purchased for an international 2 week trip to Europe based on the recommendation from NYT WireCutter.
I’m glad I went with the medium instead of the large. Packed full, it weighed in at 48. 5lbs. The large would have definitely been over 50lbs.
The luggage is attractive and protected my clothes and souvenirs. The wheels make the bag incredibly easy to navigate through the airport and streets of Paris.
The one downside is that the hard shell (specifically the corners) was immediately damaged on the first leg of the journey. Because of this, I may recommend the soft sided luggage.

Still waiting to use

I bought this beautiful suitcase for my trip to Europe this summer. From what I see about this suitcase is the good amount of space for packing and the three sections with zippers for smaller items. Like the way the lock is flat on top and the wheels glides nicely. I am really looking forward to using it and may have to write another review after I get back!

First trip taken and the shell cracked on a domestic flight. No visible trauma seen that would indicate severe mishandling. Will return both luggage pieces.

Overall good- could use stronger handle and zippers

I’m fairly happy with this luggage. It survived a trip across the world with six luggage transfers across hotels, cars, trains etc… the dual zipped compartments are nice and the exterior shell seems tough. There are some marks and scratches, but that is to be expected. I got most of them out with a magic eraser. The wheels functioned as intended with an easy and smooth pull for most of our trip. I found the quality of the zipper to be fair. The interior zipper did become misaligned at one point during the trip when I tried to overpack that compartment. I was able to get it realigned and zipping. The handle of the suitcase seemed a little less secure with more wiggle compared to another brand’s suitcase of comparable quality that I purchased for the trip. It seems like it could easily although I didn’t have any problems with this trip.
