These fit poorly. The sound quality was the worst of any Klipsch product I've ever used !! The final blow was the customer service was non existent !! Avoid !!!
I bought these a while back and the sound really delivered! Amazing sound quality, however there are two things that really stand out that would (and are) detering me from buying this product again.
First off, the wingtips slide off and disrupt the finnicky fit of the earbuds in the case. They also slide off during use so adjustments are almost constantly needed.
Secondly, and more importantly, if you are someone who uses memory foam ear tips like I do, you should stay away from this product. The earbuds do not fit properly in the case with these tips and this is confirmed by customer support, who got back to me almost two months after I reached out.
If these do not bother you, then I would still go for these because they work great for workouts and the sound is suberb!
I was super excited when I ordered these... have always been very happy with Klipsch, and really looking forward to high-end sound in a wireless earbud that I could wear biking, skiing, working out, etc. Unfortunately, the right ear bud no longer responds... which is jus the bitter sweat ending to non-stop dissatisfaction with he fit. I tried every combination of ear cup and ear wing... none fo them fit securely. Pairing and charging was a constant frustration as well... but maybe that's just cause one fo them quit working. overall... I would look at them in the case, and subconsciously avoid even picking them up to use them, as they were just frustrating. ... a pretty expensive paper weight.
Pros: cool packaging
Cons: ear wings slide off of the unit., terrible fit, tons of ear pieces... none fit securely.
Awesome. simply awesome. best sounding buds i have heard yet. Its not bass heavy, and you hear everything from lows to upper highs. they fit snug, and havent fallen out. Transparency mode is not great, but hopefully they can turn it up or something with a future update. I have them paired with a Galaxy Tab S3, and the app is useless. The app causes disconnects randomly, and it becomes a pain to pair again. The tablet will say they are connected, but the app says they are not. I use the Dolby controls through the tablet and its awesome. There has been no disconnect issues at all since removing the app.
When I heard about these ear phones back in January I thought they would be perfect but sadly design flaws have left me underwhelmed. I have had many Klipsch earphones before, including the original T5's which I really liked and were only really let down as they weren't overly secure when i went running, I hoped the mark 2 sports version would rectify this but sadly not. On the plus side the T5 ii's have superb sound, even better than the originals, are smaller and lighter, have better bluetooth stability, have better haptic feedback of the controls and have the usual superbly comfortable oval ear tips. However, as these are marketed as sports earphones this is where the problems begin. The ear wings simply don't stay in place and don't even have any locking mechanism to help with this. The earphones have only been out a short while and already there have been many reviews mentioning this problem. On a premium, sports earphone this is not acceptable and how it ever passed Klipsch's quality control is a real mystery. The ear wings also cause problems with the way they fit in the charging case such that they can stop the charging mechanism from working. Finally, I need to make a comment on the design of the stem. In the original T5 there is a long stem which means it is possible to insert the earphones quite deep in the the ear, which helps greatly with sound quality and passive noise cancelling. Unfortunately, in the newer model the stem has been reduced and the benefits of the signature Klipsch, deeper in ear fit have been lost. The design flaws of the ear wings mean these earphones are not suitable for sports activities and as such i had to return them. I look forward to the mark 3 versions correcting the flaws of this generation.
