Great, easy to use laminator

This was surprisingly easy to use and took about 5 minutes to set up and figure out. It heats up quickly and beeps to let you know it is ready. It has 4 different heat settings - 3 heat levels and a cold laminating option. I only had an issue with the laminating process as it didn't pull the pouch through straight and the right side corner wrinkled on the way in, but came out flat like it should. There were a few bubbles but only in the empty areas.
Pros: Anti-Jamming Features, ease of use, Safety Features, Speed, Warranty
Cons: Quality Construction, inability to straighten pouch

Good Buy for Basic Laminating

This Saturn unit was a replacement for my former laminator which finally failed. I was surprised use of his Saturn does not require placing the lamination pouch inside a jacket as the last one did. The machines up fairly quickly and has heat settings for different thicknesses. Not super fast for high volume production but fast enough for me. So far it has produced clear and uniform lamination of several hundred pouches. Haven't had to use the anti-jamming mechanism but glad to have it. Automatic shutoff. Very satisfied.

Great Machine and Great Value

We just got the laminator last week. i have used the included pockets and have opened the new box. :-) It works so nice and saves our classrooms' children photos so professionally. The parents will LOVE the pictures of their children even more. Thanks.
Pros: ease of use, Quality Construction, Speed
Cons: the wire that is in the back won't stay clipped in, & it caused a jam. i took it off.

Great for Small Office

This was a replacement for our old laminator that would 'eat' documents and jam constantly as well as take forever to heat up. This laminator heats up very quickly and so far I have had no jams.
Pros: ease of use, Quality Construction, Warranty
Cons: Speed

This was a great replacement for our old one. Ours took Forever to warm up before you could even use it. This machine is ready in minutes!! Does a nice job too.

New User to Laminators - One Little Issue

So far I really like this machine, I've only owned it a couple of days but have really worked it hard. My only issue is that when using a full-sized sheet (8.5x11), when it comes out, it has indentations from the guide in the back. These indentations do not come out. It basically ruins the piece. Other than that, I'm very happy with the machine - super good price!

Are you saying that once the warm lamination lands on the cooling tray that it gets what appear to be lines on the document from the tray? This is interesting to us and we would like to investigate further.

Since I received my laminator I have enjoyed protecting old newspaper clippings, photos, Boat registration and licenses. I have enjoyed doing the same for my friends and family. I'll have to order more protectors soon.

Ease of use!

First time laminator owner, and I must say, quite frankly, I don't know what the hold up was! I was afraid of a bad smell and fear of burning myself. I received this for a Christmas present and it took 4 months before using it, but I NEEDED to laminate something and I took the plunge. Easy instructions, easy to use- I am hooked! No burns or bad smells! Should have bitten the bullet years ago!
