too many controls. The battery just sucks. I can charge for 5+ hours and when I go to pair, it still has low battery. The case is horribly designed as the buds can easily slip out.
They run fine. The only two issues imo are that even though you leave one of the earphones in the case, it plays audio. And no cover for the earphones in the case. The earphones are attached to the case magnetically, but are exposed such that if you shake it too much, they can detach from the case and fly off.
Ive had the previous models of these ear buds from jlab and they were great the only similarity is sound it is great from these for the price. The down side is they dont have the rubber sealing rings and wont stay in my ears. The other downside is anytime they are touched they are too sensitve so they change volume or change the song whereas the old ones you had to push harder on a button. Good tech but they need tweaking. Ridiculously good price and good quality but could be improved.
Bluetooth performance is far below satisfactory. Both earbuds experience connection issues CONSTANTLY after about 4 weeks of use. Never dropped or damaged in any way. None of the troubleshooting recommendations from Jlabs provide any meaningful resolution. The performance is totally different outdoors (left or right earbud stops working completely when I step outside even with the case in my coat pocket).
Cons - Don't work as advertised - EQ settings are bad and offer no customization - Terrible user experience
Pros - Great case for OTG recharging (or to go through troubleshooting steps endlessly while you are filled with existential dread and regret for purchasing these garbage earbuds) - You get what you pay for
My experience with these earbuds, I NOT recommend ANY Jlabs products. Buy a decent reputable brand - spend a little more so you don't have to purchase to replace.
I haven't even owned these for a month and they are starting to lose their bluetooth connection. I can't get lasting connection without having to reset these and I can't go too far away without the sound breaking up. The overall sound is sometimes uneven with one side being louder than the other so it gets annoying having to reset my bluetooth with these.
Other than that the sound quality is alright although I really like the punch of the bass with the EQ adjustment! So that's one positive I can name of. I wasn't looking to spend a fortune on wireless earphones so these tempted me but now I regret the purchase. The fit is also horrible, they tend to slip off your ears after some time and the wireless controls make these annoying to have on.
Buy at your own discretion but if you don't care much about the other factors and need earphones on a budget, these aren't too bad.
The sound is fine for the price but they don't fit my ears with the tips that came with them. Even after buying double flange tips, the right one is relatively stable, but the left still falls out.
I bought this headphones in August when I was in Vancouver but now the left side is already not working at all. There’s no signal that it’s connected or anything.
These headphones won't even last 3 month! Don't recommend at all! After 3 months the left side earbud won't pair with the right one no matter what you do! And their no support so once you buy it doesn't work can't get help and pretty sure these trash headphone are a one time sale!
