The filter worked good even

The filter worked good even though it was smaller than the size indicated. The unit called for a Honeywell filter even though the furnace is a Lenox.

They seem ok, the only thing I noticed in installing was that they were about 3 millimeters too long for my unite. I was able to finally close the door on them however.

This filter (30x36") was assembled

This filter (30x36") was assembled from two smaller filters, one of which was cut. the resulting joint was sealed poorly, resulting in an entire "loose" edge of filter element material along the short axis. This results in high-velocity air-flow along this seam and allows unfiltered air to by-pass the filter element.
