20x20x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter Poorly Constructed

The paper strips covering both sides of the filter causes a whistling sound and seems to restrict the airflow as the air goes through the filter. This is a very poorly made filter. Why do you need the strips? You should find something narrower and more stable. Will not purchase 20x20x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter again.

Non standard size? No problem

Our HVAC takes a non-standard size filter that the big box stores dont stock and cant get. Filterbuy solves that problem with filters in any conceivable dimension combination. And, the price is good. So, winner-winner chicken dinner Filterbuy!

The filters dont fit in

The filters dont fit in the openings like they should. Unfortunately I bought 12 of the wrong size, then bought 12 of the right size. But I didnt receive confirmation so I reordered 12 more. Now I have 23 filters that dont fit the openings very well. Gives me extra incentive to change once per month, thats for sure!
