These MERV 8 filters from Filterbuy are much better than the ones that came in our new house and we get them at a reasonable cost when we put in our yearly order.

Finally found a filter that's the right size for my weird AC
on April 14, 2023

I have a Rheem AC that came with a not-very-good permanent filter. Plus, due to medical issues, I need disposable filters; too difficult to clean permanent ones. For some stupid reason, none of the common sizes sold at hardware stores fits the AC. I've been using a size that's too small, because it's too hard for me cut down the next-bigger size. So, I was thrilled to find Filterbuy which had the perfect size and even makes custom filters. My only complaint is that my size comes only in MERV 8, and I'd rather have a higher quality MERV rating. Now that I know I have the right size, I'll see about having them custom made with higher MERV rating, but I wish I didn't have to go to that extent. I'm really aggravated with Rheem for making an AC model that doesn't use a common size and it's something now to know to look for. But I wish that FilterBuy offered more MERV options that didnt' have to be custom-made. I live in FL, and am mostly homebound, and so for most of my life, I'm inside with closed windows, and so indoor air quality is extremely important.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad to have stumbled onto Filter Buy! Website is easy to use, they carry Air Filters that I can't find in stores, shipping is FREE, it's made in the USA and the products are great. What more could you ask for?
