They werent 4 thick. They are about 1/2 thinner than what was in my furnace.

Not bad but could use simple improvements

Fits but there's space around the filter so I'm sure regular air is getting through. Don't know why no one makes filters that slide onto the April aire tracks. Probably cheaper to make and filter would fit better. Much cheaper than April aire but still. Expensive considering what it is.
