The filter is about 1/2 inch short.
The filters that I had been using fit the opening tight with no gaps. I will use the filters until they a gone but will go back to original filter bought at home store.

The filters came more quickly

The filters came more quickly than I expected and I appreciate the quality of the Merv 13 filters. I have 3 cats and 4 adults in my house so we generate a lot of hair and dust. This filter helps a lot! The price isn't too bad for 4 filters. Changing them out once every 3 months instead of every month is a blessing. I just set the reminder on my calendar. I just wish I could get all of the features the Merv 13 features along with the odor control but alas! You cannot have everything I suppose lol!

The 20x23x1 filter fit is perfect. I was using the wrong size, per Tony (AC Tech). Tony(AC Tech) told me the filter size for the AC unit was wrong. The 20x22x1 filter I had inside the AC unit was wrong as well. He told me the right AC filter is 20x23x1 and gave me some tips for maintaining my AC unit as well. I would love for him to come back and give me more unit service tips as a user. In the meantime, I went out and purchased a basic AC service manual. . . . KUDOS to Tony!!!!!!

The company is great, their responsive and fast, their website help me with all of the details so that I bought the right filter, I get them in the mail, they're made in the USA, and I can consistently get the same filters with the same rating and actually trust them that it's what they say it is. This is not true anywhere else.

As usual I am completely satisfied and happy with my filters. These filters capture the dust, dog hair, and allergies that are floating around in the house, keeping the air pure and healthy.
I use two different sizes of filters (MERV 13) of course which both sizes fit perfect in one box for shipping.
