I used it for a family road trip and it does a great job staying connected to the car port and charging at a normal speed and not slow.

first time it melted and was burnt, 2nd time it stopped charging and when u take the charger out o lf the plug, it still was lighting up. hopefully 3rd time is a charm. if not then i wont get this item anymore
