I have not used the filters yet. I always have a new filter on hand when I put a new one in. However they look just the way I presumed they would.

I tried but no-go

I really wanted to purchase from this company due to its mission statement. Unfortunately 20x25x4 is lacking about 1" in height compared to the other two manufactures I had in my 2 air handlers... I had to rig something up to make them work but when I finish the 4 filters I purchased I can't do this again... I will have to go back to the major brand filters which are different sizes than these (but also marked 20x25x4).No complaints about the quality or price... for my a/c system (New house built in 2013-14) they just don't fit like the major brands.
