Be careful comparing MERVs to other standards

Everything was done well, but be careful in terms of what "MERV" level you have as these numbers are not the same as those used by 3M and others. So, in comparing filters, you have to cross-walk them carefully and a MERV 11 is more likely to be appropriate for domestic use.

Get out the dust.

After our remodel, the house was full of dust from the construction. After purchasing these filters and replacing them every week for 4 weeks, the dust is significantly less than before. I now change the filters monthly and our dust problem is virtually gone. Great filters.

Finally. A decent filter that fits. All filters seem to mot measure the size they say they are. It is nice to see the actual size of these filters before buying so I knew it would fit. No more cheap, flimsy filters for this house.

Not just a furnace filter

I put these in my windows during pollen season and can have the windows open without any pollen coming in, just clean air. Thanks to the large selection of sizes I can get a perfect fit upstairs and down.
