Smaller than advertised

Although filter is advertised as 20x20x4 it's actually smaller than that and doesn't fit properly in my unit. I'm afraid that particles will be able to seep through the sides where it doesn't fit properly. The filter also doesn't feel as well made as the 3M filter I had before. I doubt I will buy this again as the savings isn't worth it.

Skimpy size and weight

Skimpy size and weight much smaller than the nominal size so that the filter is loose in the hvac slot. Looks cheap compared to the other brands I have used.

Excellent transition filter.

I purchased this filter to get away from the accordion style and it fit really nice. There is a screw in the housing of my ac unit that made me squish the filter at the start to get in, but once in it covers good and is a heck of a lot easier to change. Unsure about filter quality yet having just started to use. We will see in a couple months how much it traps.
