Thought filter would be closer

Thought filter would be closer to 5 inches in thickness. The Honeywell brand i was using has the exact same dimensions as filterfast but call there's 4 inches. See photo

Good price. Although the box is the right size filter they are thinner the 4in filter. Too much wiggle room when inserted into the AC

This is the first time

This is the first time that I am using A/C filters from Filterbuy. Although they were slightly shorter (disclosed on their website) than my previous filters, they actually fit better at my vent openings. I used to have to cut the corners off of the previous brands of filters that I have used in the past because they were much too tight fitting. I think I will be using Filterbuy filters from now on.

30" filter was a 1/2" inch short

I purchased a 24" x 1" and a 30" x 1" filter, both stating they were 8" tall; the 30" came in a full 1/2" short, at 7. 5, where as the 24 came in at a full 8". How do you account for that? Now there's a gap in the filter and debris can get in the fan; not good enough
