Gee, I am only replying to this because it is the second time you have written me. I will be honest with you. I have for years been buying them from a company in Omaha, NE. I have lost track of them (thought maybe they closed due to Covid), so I found your site and decided to order from you. My comments are based only on the comparison of the two. I ordered the exact same specs. Merv11 and the size. The filters were slightly undersized (approx. 1/8" smaller on the smaller side. They seemed looser, I mean more flexible than the others.I would have no complaint with that BUT, I am noticing a great deal more dust coming through the registers making for more frequent dusting. This tells me that more dust is traveling through the pipes into my living space. I should tell you that the ducts and returns were professionally cleaned by Stanley Steemer at the beginning of last year's heating season, so I doubt if the ductwork is at fault. This leads me to wonder....is this material really Merv11. Was the other guy giving me Merv13 all these years and calling it Merv11? I doubt it. Anyhow, I do wish you the best. You seem really concerned in keeping the customer in the loop. I truly am not writing this to be snarky. Simply because you asked twice. Tim Sayers
Website does not indicate that the merv 11 filter media is actually dark gold in color versus the traditional white or silver expected. This color is very visible when installed in a white return vent on a white ceiling.
