This filter did not reflect true advertised size. We had to take parts of our old filter to make the new filters fit

I thought I was buying a filter that measured 20 X 25 X 4 inches. What I got is smaller and it does not fit correctly in the filter box.

Happy to find our size

14x25x4 is clearly an oddball size, it's not available in local big box stores and even most brands online didn't carry it either. The actual dimensions of this one made it a very tight fit in our furnace, much tighter than the one provided by the HVAC installer last year. We expect we'll be able to get it out with out shredding it, but it probably won't come out easily or without damage, that's the only reason I took off 1 star. Once it's out we will have to swap to a new one. That said, tight fit means better filtration which is critical during this pollen season and if the wildfire smoke comes our way this year.
