Obviously generic filters...nothing on the packaging to guarantee MERV 8 status, air 'passability', necessary flammability status, durability (appear more flimsy than Flanders), etc. I checked off Flanders filters and was referred to these...I would hope they are of the same quality. How do I know?

The filter were oversized and did not fit. I had to bend then and stuff them in. I believe that you cut them to the correct size and then put the cardboard edge on them which makes them to big.
