Fits perfectly in very odd size filter compartment.

fits perfectly, first manufacturer we found who could fit to the 1/4 inch. Time will tell how overall performance is. We got this filter for removing smoke from west coast wildfires. Unfortunately, didn't realize it was what we needed till too late in the hazardous air conditions. The MERV rating is better than anything we could have gotten that we would have had to cut to size.

Poor quality

Two of the four filters I bought, had gaps between filter media and the paper frame. I threw them away. So I ended up with two filters for 32 bucks. That sucks. Ill be buying filters from my local hardware store. I expected much better quality.

Quality filters; physically check size when recieved

Good quality filters with many size options. Previous shipment came with mislabeled filters. Label on filters showed correct size; filters actually 2 in. too big in one dimension.
