Too noisey and annoying

Due size dimensions less than actual size of opening (1/2 inch in each dimension), these filters make a lot of noise. They do advertise these are snaller than the listed dimensions, but that does not make it acceptable. "American Made" should not mean "we give you less material to cut our costs!" The local hardware store has filters that are much better for approximately the same cost.
