We've been fans of Filterbuy for years. High quality, made in USA, and very fast delivery. The quality of the filters is impressive - we have a relatively small air return (14x20) for our house and the nasty cheap filters that were left when we moved in did little to keep dirt and hair out of the system. Our new FilterBuy filters are helping to keep pet hair and dander along with sand and dust out of the air and I can breathe easier.

20x20x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter Poorly Constructed

The paper strips covering both sides of the filter causes a whistling sound and seems to restrict the airflow as the air goes through the filter. This is a very poorly made filter. Why do you need the strips? You should find something narrower and more stable. Will not purchase 20x20x1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter again.

The filters dont fit in

The filters dont fit in the openings like they should. Unfortunately I bought 12 of the wrong size, then bought 12 of the right size. But I didnt receive confirmation so I reordered 12 more. Now I have 23 filters that dont fit the openings very well. Gives me extra incentive to change once per month, thats for sure!
