Beware nominal versus actual sizes

Filterbuy sent me exactly what I ordered. However, not having had an older filter to measure, I just measured the opening and failed to note the difference between nominal and actual size. So the filter won't really work for me -- it's too loose. I will learn my lesson and do a follow-up "custom" filter size order that should fit correctly.

I am sorry, this isn't a bad review but I still have the wrong size. I got 14x22 and i need 14x20, so not a really happy camper. although this could have been my fault at ordering. waiting for a RMA number to return.

I ordered a 14" x 25" x 2" filter but the actual width is apprx 1/2" too narrow (13 1/2"), so the filter does not fit as tight as it should. I do like the 2" thickness which is not available in any store.
