I was depending on the MERV 8 to be the proper size for our unit - however, it is about 1/2 inch smaller than needed. It works, but not a snug fit that I ex[edted

Filter#13 VS #8

I was told by an HVAC pro I was using to strong of filter #13. The pro said it made my system work to hard. Thats why I ordered the #8 filter. What do you think?
