After we got the hang of things and temp. I’m honest surprised how well it works. Wish it came with a small brush or something to get in the cracks when cleaning up

We haven’t used our waffle maker yet. However, the instructions do not mention one word about rotating (turning over) the waffle maker?

I thought that the waffles would be crispy, but they are not. I had the dial turned all the way to dark and it barely came out dark tan. I think I need to learn how to use it better. My old waffle maker was much easier to use. It didn't have so many steps.It was a 4 waffle Mainstays. Unfortunately I dropped it and it broke, so I thought I would try this one instead.
