I recently purchased this item, and it looks exactly as pictured. I’m currently reviewing the manual before using it, but so far, I’m very pleased with its appearance and overall presentation. Needs to be full darkness to get any browning

Sadly this cooks very differently than any other Belgian waffle maker I've used. It barely is browned enough on the highest setting and the waffle texture is weird too.

This waffle maker has produced evenly browned and toasty goods. Depending on who's using it, cleanup can be challenging.

Used it once and it took much longer to cook than I thought. 10-12 minutes. Not going to give up but hopefully it will get better with a different recipe.
