After I have bought a few waffle irons in the past, this one is my favorite, it worked perfectly the very first time I used it, so I'm very happy about my purchase.

It works as advertised. Needs longer to cook than instructions say. Thin out batter to get a crisper outside

Has what I was looking for. Hoping it’s more durable than my last one…used 6 times over several years because we’re retired and watching starches, treated gently and only 2 waffles at a time, then unplugged….yet, the heating element went wacky, indicator light never lit, and it literally started screeching worse than a smoke alarm. Unplugged immediately. Out to the patio it went to cool down.
