Pretty decent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this phone mount about a month ago because my old one broke. There are pros and cons to this phone holder. Really easy to use and works great. The con is that it didn't come with a flat disc for the suction cup to suction to so, unless you have one, you'll only be able to use your wind shield. Other than that, it works well.

Good for hands free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Monster Magnetic Phone Mount is a great idea for keeping your phone handy and "hands free" while driving.
The sticky suction base clings to my windshield securely. The issue I had was with the metal piece you need to attach to your phone. My phone case is textured so the strip did not adhere so well and kept coming off. My husband (who has MacGyver skills) found some super adhesive and solved the problem. If you have a smooth phone case or adhere the strip directly to your phone THIS should not be an issue for you. Just something to be aware of.
Other than that, it works great my phone is handy whenever ever I am driving now.

A couple drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have usually found products like this have inferior suction cups that fall off the windshield. I like that this product has a sticky suction cup which will help it stay on the window. Since it is sticky it should help it stay on dashboards as well. There is a slim magnet included that you place inside your phone case or stick to the back of the phone, that is what holds the phone to the mount. The head pivots so you can adjust to your viewing needs. I do not know if the suction cup will stay sticky after removing and/or relocating to a different place. The instructions do state to avoid long exposure to direct sunlight which may cause damage, I find that odd because it was made to attach to a windshield???

Would not stick to anything in my car

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure if it was just the surfaces in my car, but it would not stay stuck for more than 5 minutes to anything in my car...including my windshield. Maybe I got a faulty item? I would like it and it would work great if it would stick.

Finally a car mount that hasn't failed me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm a YouTuber and sometimes my video and filming will carry on into the car. Where I submit log Style videos. At any given day I need something in my car that I can pop my phone into because that's what I film with and turn on the camera not worry about weather the phone is going to stay in position. So when I saw the monster magnet phone mount I thought this looks like another one that I had already and hadn't worked too well. I was wrong. It may be similar in appearance to other car mounts but I can assure you that this one is definitely different in the fact that it stays put. I have tried so many hands-free devices for my car and my phone. So many I can not even list them. And they all disappointed me. I've tried ones from the suction cup to the windshield to the dashboard and everything in between the vent you name it! And none of them really work they would break the phone would slip out the mount would fall off. But not with this product. And I think I know why. On the base of this product there is a tacky sticky adhesive type material. Not only will it adhere with suction but you have that extra added security of the adhesive film. For me I can't tell you what a difference this makes. It has stayed put throughout my many troubles and many recordings. I really wanted to give it a go and parked my car in the Sun. Now I didn't leave the car there all day I just wanted to see what would happen if the car got really hot because that's where I noticed the other devices would tell me. If it was too hot or too cold they would fall from the windshield or the dash. This one did not however and again think that is from the sticky adhesive on the bottom along with the suction cup so all in all I got to say this is a really great device I have no problems putting both my Android LG 5 in it and my Samsung s10. Both devices fit fine. And the grip on the side mounts that hold the phone in place work wonderfully. Of course it does shake a little bit but that's to be expected I mean after all I am driving while I'm walking. Even if this one were to eventually come off I think I would definitely replace it. I like it that much!

sticky and strong can handle the texas heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had temps over 100 degrees in central texas and this thing hasn't gone anywhere. The dash of my truck is BAKING hot. The magnetic phone mount works great, the magnet is strong. The suction works great. it's not too big so it's not annoying and it pivots well and is sturdy. Finally a mount that doesn't break or end up in the trash after a few weeks. monster has quality gear that lasts a lifetime.

Kinda sticky

I was hoping to have it mounted on my dash in order to have a clear view of my phone while driving and using the maps. I used the suction base to lock it down and seemed to work well for a while until it started to get hot outside and then it would just pop right off. Using it on the window definitely worked better but was slightly less convient in terms of view/placement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
