Failed within a month

Bought this a month ago. Will not do anything. Key pad doesn’t work. Key won’t work to lock the door. Absolutely useless. Have tried all of the suggestions we can possibly find online, it will simply not work. Extremely disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please check the lock's installation, replace the batteries, perform a Factory Reset and follow the programming steps in the guide:

Poor quality

The previous one broke. Bought another and it is missing the set screw to hold the handle (empty hole all the way through).

The set screw is reverse threaded in the shaft and accessed when the key cylinder is placed in the unlocked position. Loved it so much I bought a second

I bought this almost exactly 3 years ago. I have never had any issues with my code not working. I have never had a door handle fall off. In fact, I like this door handle so much for my garage inner door that I purchased a 955 version for my inner door I need locked away from rental guests. Just as easy to install as the first.
My only “complaint” is that for the 917 I accidentally threw out the R screw and I would love to add it now. Oops. Nothing to do with the product, just user error.
Depending on my next house I’ll buy at least one more.

The keypad unlocks the door inconsistently

Bought this product about 6 months ago, at first it worked great, but over time it has gotten to the point where you have to put in the code 3-5 times for it to unlock. At first we thought it was user error, but it isn’t, it will take the right code but not unlock. It looks nice, but we are forced to use the key at least once a day because it takes a 10 seconds to time out and let you try again.

Handle Constantly Falls Off

Like another reviewer mentioned, the handle falls off constantly. We will re-secure it with the provided tools per the instructions and within 2-3 weeks the handle falls off again. Bought this doorknob earlier this year and the overall use of the door is fairly minimal. Really disappointed with this purchase.

1. Install the lever on the shaft with the door open.
2. Insert the key into the cylinder to Unlock it.
3. Insert the 3/32 Allen wrench into the hole on the bottom of the lever, and rotate the Allen wrench clockwise to tighten the lever.

I like that it has options you can use a key or use the digital key pad. It really make you feel safe in your own home. This will make a perfect gift for someone who maybe concern about there safety.
