The case itself is nice, but he has only been using it for 10 days and the stand will not stay on. It no longer snaps into place and falls off under the weight of the iPad. Maybe this one is defective, but as it is one of the main selling features doesn’t work as expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid case, the iPad is very protected. However, the giant knob on the back prevents the iPad from lying flat, which is frustrating when trying to draw, it’s also locked to landscape view which limits what games can be played. Some games are meant to be played in portrait. Specifically Mario, but there are others.

I'm an aging adult with nerve issues. And this case is perfect for me it does everything it says it does. It has protected my iPad numerous times from drops. Built in handle is very convenient for carrying.

Sturdy case but doesn’t stand up as well as it should. Seems more intended for hanging off the head rest in your car for watching in the back seats. Also strange it didn’t come with instructions for how to open and put it on. I ended up watching a YouTube video

I needed a new case and wanted a different style than the one I had previously. This was a different enough design and even thought it was in the kids section, it was a color I like and felt confident as an adult I could use. Turns out the feature used to stand it up on my counter works better than the previous case I had, and it is a material that won't break easy!
